Featured Stud Of The Week THE 2013 STUD OF THE YEAR IS CLAYTON MIDDLETON

.....because of his league high 3 appearances on Stud Row. Although Middleton won the Championship, the battle for "Stud of the Year" actually came down to a tiebreaker with Middleton putting up 2121.7 total points on the year and Jake Nicholson putting up 2047.3. So Middleton topped Jake by just 74.4 points on the year to claim this coveted title.

In 2013, Clayton Middleton had the best draft in league history. Period. And you could possibly go as far as saying that Middleton had one of the better drafts in the world in 2013 due to Peyton Manning having the greatest fantasy football season in NFL history and Jamaal Charles finishing as the #1 RB on the season and Antonio Brown being just a few points shy of being the #1 WR and the Bengals D/ST being in the Top 4. This "Immaculate Draft" resulted in many records being shattered.

So lets get to Middleton's accomplishments & records for 2014:

1. League Champion
2. The League's first "(2)-time"Champion
3. (3) Career Championship Appearances
4. (4) Career Top 3 Finishes
5. Highest Single Week Score in League History
6. Most Points in a Full Season in League History
7. Most Points in the Post Season in League History
8. (2) "Top 5" Most Points in a Full Season
9. Best Draft in League History (Draft resulted in Championship and League Records)
10. Best Single Draft Pick in League History (Peyton Manning)
11. Most Championship Earnings in League History ($1325.00)
12. Most Records Obtained in a Single Season
13. Most Records Obtained in a League Career
14. 2013 Stud of the Year

2013 STUD ROW

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 1 is Clayton Middleton

.....because of his baller league high score of 169.5 which was the 9th highest score in the league's 9 year history. Middleton got a total of 9 touchdowns and 89.7 fantasy points out of two players in one game on Thursday night which is a league record and essentially, Middleton's opponent Ronny D was toast before his players even got to see a snap. Middleton made a gutsy roster decision and picked up Julius Thomas out of Free Agency and started him which proved to be genius foresight. Prior to that, Thomas only had one NFL reception in his career but that night he put up 5 REC, 110 YDS, and 2 TDs. One week may not validate a person's draft, but Middleton's draft appears to be one of the best in league history as Manning putting up 7 TDs in one game and Boldin & Cruz had monster games in Week 1. Baboom! Middleton is gracious, humble, and never pretentious when it comes to fantasy. But watch out for Mafioso this year kids, he may just "JAMAAL TILL HE FALLS".

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 2 is Darin Whitehead

.....because of his Bronco-sized league high score of 162.3 which was the 13th highest score in the league's 9 year history. Darin's roster "ForteStafford Infections" came alive from top to bottom as it dismantled Hoseley's Ho Squad. Darin made a very good roster decision by starting Michael Vick instead of Stafford, and credit is due to Darin for the gutsy call. You could call the kid Daring Darin. Well that led to a double-dip from Vick to DeSean for a total of 72.9 points between the two of them, which that alone would've been enough to beat the whole squad of the other Whitehead, Derek, the "Dud of the Week" for Week 2. Darin's bench even looked good this week. This is Darin's first appearance on Stud Row this year but it may not be his last. He is currently leading the league in "Points For" with 297.9 through 2 Weeks. Ronny D, Ronny D, let him be, let him be.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 3 is Randy Moseley

.....because of his league high score of 150. That was a nice round number that Hoseley hung on Danny "Machete" Helton and it was a well rounded performance from top to bottom from a squad that's headed in the right direction, despite some injury concerns. It appears that taking McCoy in the 1st round was a wise move as McCoy sits at the top of all RBs in our league with 68.4 points through 3 weeks. Moseley got 4 TDs and 29.4 points out of Russell Wilson and that's an excellent return on investment for an 8th round draft pick. So now Moseley has a winning record and is amongst the top 4 teams in the league. Hoseley's Ho Squad has been on Stud Row 6 times in a 19 week span since his return to the league in 2012 making him a 31.6% Stud. Big Hoseley is going sick on some niggies!

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 4 is Jake Nicholson

.....because of his league high score of 161.9. This performance was the 14th highest score in league history. Doelio Mafioso put up 137.5 on Jake but Jake's lineup GingerFade Sandwich slowly but surely walked Doe down and Gates put the nail in the coffin with a 10 catch, 136 yard, 1 touchdown performance. Four out of nine roster slots put up 20 plus points for Jake and it was a well rounded day. Picking up the Titans D/ST on September 18th turned out to be a huge determining factor on the outcome of the matchup this week. At 4-0, Jake already has half the wins needed to make the playoffs this season and by the way things look, you can expect the renaissance campaign to continue.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 5 is Derek Whitehead

.....because of his league high score of 159.8. This performance was the 17th highest score in league history. From Week 3 Dud, to Week 5 Stud, it's been a roller coaster ride for Whitehizzle Sizzle but things are looking up for the kid as his record improves to 3-2. Derek was a welcome surprise at Rio on Sunday as the fantasy gods rewarded him for getting out of the house. Derek sat back on the couch and watched with amazement as Romo put up humongous stats and finished with 54.9 fantasy points. And yes, you heard that right.... the only reason Romo put up big numbers is because Derek sucked it up and got out of the house on Sunday. It should not be overlooked that Derek made a wise Kicker pick up by aquiring Steven Hauschka who hung 17 on the board. Little adjustments like that can make or break a week. Things have turned around for Whitehead but Derek has his work cut out for him in Week 6 as he faces the high scoring Doelio Mafioso in what will be a huge matchup for him.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 6 is Jake Nicholson

.....because of his Curly league high score of 163.7. This performance was the 12th highest score in league history and it even tops his high score from Week 4 when he was Stud of the Week. With that being said, this performance puts Jake as the front runner for Stud of the Year. Jake's lineup GingerFade Sandwich consistently puts up big weeks and is the highest scoring team in the league with 844.4 points through 6 weeks. So if you don't put up about 140.7+ points against Jake then you ain't got much of a shot. At 5-1 Jake has the best record in the league and with about 3 more wins his playoff berth is pretty much locked.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 7 is Darin Whitehead

.....because of his league high score of 141. This was a week of low scoring teams around the league but it was Ronny D who rose to the occasion and neutralized the Ho Squad. Darin's roster was renamed "Drinking Fortes" from "ForteStafford Infections" and this seemed to do the trick as Matt Forte busted through with 31.9 which was his highest output all season. The last time Ronny D played Hoseley he ended up on Stud Row so Ronny D has handed Hoseley 2 of his 3 loses to put both teams at 4-3 on the season. Darin probably wishes he could play the Ho Squad every week. This is Ronny D's second appearance on Stud Row this year which puts him in a tie with Jake as the front runner for "Stud of the Year" and it's a role-reversal from his previous years as "Dud of the Year". Ronny D is taking his time to pay up on his league dues, but it's Ronny D, Ronny D, so we will let him be, let him be.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 8 is Zac Nicholson

.....because of his monster league high score of 172. This performance was the 7th highest score in the league's 9 year history and the highest score of the 2013 season and the highest score since Week 9 of 2012. After a dreadful start to the season, Dickey has turned it all around and has won 4 straight and his squad is coming together nicely. The Dick is loose and he's on the move aquiring talent at RB through a trade for pennies on the dollar at a time when talent at the position is spread thin like K.Y. Helton's peter, due to injuries, platoons, and BYEs. Dickey has moved right on up the rankings and is now in the top 4 and could be playoff bound. In Week 8, Zac ran newly aquired Ellington and milked 25.2 out of him so that was a solid spot-start. But the talk of the town was Calvin Johnson. Megatron had 14 receptions for 329 yards and 1 TD, so that was basically a PPR blowjob for Mr. Nicholson. He's reeling those slabs in now. Welcome to Stud Row kid.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 9 is Jake Nicholson

.....because of his league high score of 142.3. He handed Moseley a devestating loss and this marks the 3rd time this year that someone has put up at least 130 points and still lost against Jake. Geez. And this is also Jake's 3rd appearance on Stud Row this year making him the current "Stud of the Year". Jake has been a Stud in 3 of the past 6 weeks so he is rolling with those curls flopping in the breeze. His playoff spot is already pretty much locked at 7-2. He just needs another win and he's in. Jake is still the highest scoring team in the league and his draft choices have paid off big for him. His worst week this season as of this date is 109.1 so his worst week would be a good week for some folks in this league. It's bad news for anyone facing Jake's Ginger Fade Sandwich!

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 10 is Sam Ketcheside

.....because of his league high score of 134.4. Sam is coming out hard like the San Francisco Giants of 2010 or 2012. Or hell, maybe even as hard as the Giants of 1905, 21, 22, 33, or 54 for that matter (the editor of Stud Row knows his baseball by the way). This week Sam handed Moseley a devestating playoff spoling loss. Brandon Marshall got sick wit it for Moseley with 29.4 but Sam's Demaryius Thomas had to get just disgusting and go for 32.3. Sam even said, he needed a win in the worst possible way, and that's what he got. It was a solid day for Sam and this shifted his season and got him a winning reacord at 6-4. With a lot of teams in the league bunched up, Sam looks to be in contention down the stretch. He may even be in 4th place by Week 14. Sam has a roster with some Stud potential but it really all comes down to roster management for Sam. Will Sam play Montee Ball, Ingram, or Starks? Who knows, but one wrong move and this squad may be on another Playoff Vacation.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 11 is Zac Nicholson

.....because of his ridiculously big league high score of 174.7. All aboard the Dickey Monster (that's a new ride at Magic Springs for those that didn't know). It goes up and down week after week till you're sick to your damn stomach. The ol' Dickey Monster reached new heights this week. This performance was the 6th highest score in the league's 9 year history and the highest score of the 2013 season and this week's score and his Week 8 score are the highest scores since Week 9 of 2012. Zac is now the owner of 3 Top 10 performances. After an up and down season, Dickey finds himself still in playoff contention and this week was a BIG factor. His Points For went through the roof with this week's score and got him up closer towards the top. In Week 8, Zac ran newly aquired Ellington and milked 25.2 out of him, but the talk of the town that week was Calvin Johnson. Well Calvin spoke loudly with his actions again in Week 11 and Dickey reeped the rewards. Ironically Zac's biggest asset was a man he's always dogged out. Roethlisberger decided to get sick-wit-it and put up 41.8. So I guess the Dick will lay off ol' Big Ben for a while. Dickey is still reeling in some slabs.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 12 is Chris Helton

.....because of his league high score of 132.2. Well shit the bed, somebody from Rio finally makes it to Stud Row and he just barely got it at that, by edging out Jake by a single point. Is hell frozen? Well, it doesn't matter because this kid's season is toast. Danny's score this week was the highest, but it was a down week for all the teams in the league and Danny's score is the lowest "Stud" score recorded this year. At least he can enjoy denying someone the satisfaction of being on Stud Row or possibly making it to the playoffs. A highlight for Danny this year was that he was the first team in league history to name a secondary owner to his team. He did that in hopes that it would change his luck but not even that helped Ol' Xanny Boy out. This season, Danny opened with a 6 game losing steak followed by a 4 game winning streak so his 2013 campaign was more streaky than Darin's whitey tighties. Danny is playing Sam in Week 14 so he has the chance to be a spoiler and deny Sam a playoff spot.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 13 is Timmy Myers

.....because of his league high score of 159.9. Well Timmy's team did what most thought it couldn't do, and that's blow the hell up. This performance was the 20th highest score in the league's 9 year history and Timmy's highest score since Week 5 of 2012. Timmy now holds 3 of the highest PPR single game point totals in the top 20 list and 2 of the highest Non-PPR single game point totals in the top 3 list. Timmy has went from Dud-to-Dud-to-Dud and now he's a Stud. Timmy's roster was a Dud last week which put him in a tie for Dud of the Year but now he's a Stud so it's quite the peaks and valleys as of late for the TimTim. Regardless of what's happened this year for TimTim, it all boils down to Week 14. Timmy is in 5th place at the moment and is in contention for a playoff spot. Darin and Zac are also in contention and are playing each other this week so one of them will win and if Timmy loses, then Sam will also have to lose and Timmy will have the same record as either Zac or Darin but the dreadful news for Timmy is that his Points For won't help him in a tie breaker situation because his Points For are so anemic. (What a pointless break down). So that means things are really simple for TimTim this week..... win and you're in! There is no alternative.

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 14 is Timmy Myers

.....because of his league high score of 167.7. From Dud-to-Dud-to-Dud-to-Stud-to-Stud, Timmy is headed in the right direction and has been very active on both sides of the Row this year. Once again, Timmy's team did what the majority of the league thought it couldn't do, and that's make the playoffs. This performance was the 12th highest score in the league's 9 year history. Timmy still holds 3 of the highest PPR single game point totals in the top 20 list and 2 of the highest Non-PPR single game point totals in the top 3 list. But besides all that, this was one of the most crucial wins in league history because Timmy had to win to make the playoffs and he eliminated Derek who had the same record as him. So Timmy Studded out to make the playoffs and not many people if anybody can say they've done that. Timmy showed unbelievable faith and guts to run his players from his beloved Chicago Bears. Timmy got 47.4 out of McCown and 13 out of Gould on Monday night to mount one of the greatest comebacks ever. Timmy now has a chance for Stud of the Year as well as Dud of the Year. Welcome back to the playoffs TimTim! And how bout, DA BEARS!

Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 15 is Clayton Middleton

.....because of his RECORD SETTING HIGHEST SCORE IN LEAGUE HISTORY of 191.6. This was the highest score ever in the playoffs as well. Middleton came close to 200 and if Manning had a normal week, he would've busted 200. Or if Middleton would've played DeAngelo instead of Todman he would've hit the 200 mark. So 200 is attainable, but Middleton will gladly settle for the highest score in the league's 9 year history. Middleton now also has the most high scores in the TOP 20 LIST, occupying 6 slots. Middleton has the #1 QB this year and the #1 RB and that's been a deadly combo for the kid. Also, Middleton now has 3 appearances in the League Championship which is the most in league history. Jake Nicholson had the #1 pick in the draft and is the #1 seed in the playoffs and was #1 in Points For this season. Middleton had the #2 pick in the draft and is the #2 seed in the playoffs and was #2 in Points For this season. They were both hundreds above the majority of the league in Points For. Well, after Round 1 of the playoffs, Jake now has a total of 1945 points and Middleton has a total of 1970.3. Both Jake and Clayton are previous Champions. So this marks the biggest matchup the league has ever known and one of these two great competitors will be the first to hoist the trophy for the 2nd time making one of them the first repeat champion of the league. With a Cool Grand on the line, this is as good as it gets. Middleton ain't such a bad guy, he just wants to JAMALL TILL HE FALLS!
Team Logo
Featured Stud Of The Week The featured STUD of Week 16 is Clayton Middleton

.....because of his CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING SCORE of 151.4. Middleton has done it.... he becomes the first 2-Time Champion in League History and puts up the Most Points in the post season in League History as well. What a BIG TIME MATCHUP it was in the League Championship. Middleton's 1st & 2nd draft picks came through when he needed them most with Manning putting up 42 and Jamaal putting up 22.9. But that's not all, Middleton's tight end Julius Thomas put up 16.8 which proved Middleton's draft strategy correct that Tight Ends shouldn't be drafted before the 14th round with the exception being Jimmy Graham. Middleton made the genius move of the year by picking up Julius Thomas out of Free Agency before the opening game and plugging him into his lineup. So no wasted draft pick there, unlike 90% of the league. Middleton had no fear in the Championship and knew just who to start. He started the volitale Rams D/ST based strictly on the match up, and they put up 15. He also plugged in Phil Dawson at Kicker who picked up 11. Middleton's WR core picked up their double digits as always and that's all she wrote as Middleton coasted to a title and the league's richest payout. Nobody will ever doubt Middleton's NFL knowledge and drafting abilities. And now it's etched in eternity.... Clayton Middleton will forever JAMALL TILL HE FALLS!
